One Punch Man follows the story of Saitama, an unassuming and seemingly average hero who lives in a world plagued by mysterious monsters and catastrophic disasters. After undergoing a rigorous, albeit mundane, training regimen that caused him to lose all his hair, Saitama achieved the ultimate power: the ability to defeat any opponent with a single punch. However, this absolute strength comes with an unexpected existential crisis, as he no longer feels the thrill of battle or faces any real challenge. His life takes an interesting turn when he meets Genos, a cybernetic youth who becomes his self-proclaimed disciple, and together they join the Hero Association to rise through the ranks. The series brilliantly combines high-octane superhero action with sharp, satirical comedy and parody, exploring themes of ambition, the superficial nature of heroism, and the profound boredom of ultimate power, all while showcasing a colorful cast of supporting heroes and formidable villains.
This season introduces Saitama, an unassuming hero living in a world plagued by monsters and catastrophic disasters. After undergoing a rigorous training regimen that caused him to lose all his hair, Saitama gained the ultimate power: the ability to defeat any opponent with a single punch.

Saitama, an unassumingly powerful hero who obliterates any opponent with a single blow, contends with existential boredom and apathy while longing for a formidable adversary capable of challenging his strength.

Genos, a cyborg driven by vengeance against a rogue machine, engages the mutant Mosquito Girl in City Z. After witnessing Saitama's effortless victory, Genos requests to train under him as his disciple.

Saitama and Genos assault the House of Evolution research facility, breaching its fortified perimeter to confront Dr. Genus. In the subterranean testing chamber, Genus unleashes his unstable mutant masterpiece, Carnage Kabuto, who forces Saitama to reveal the surprisingly mundane secret behind his immense power.

A band of unemployed rebels known as the Paradisers steals advanced powered exoskeletons to terrorize City F in pursuit of an idyllic work-free life. Hired bodyguard Speed-o'-Sound Sonic intervenes to eliminate the group, but his pride is shattered when he mistakenly engages Saitama in combat.

At Genos's urging, Saitama agrees to register officially with the Hero Association by sitting for the standardized entrance exams. While Genos achieves a flawless score and ascends immediately to the prestigious S-Class, Saitama's peerless physical performance is undermined by poor written marks, leaving him in C-Class.

Informed that C-Class heroes must perform at least one heroic deed every week to maintain their professional license, Saitama scours the streets of City Z for daily crimes. Meanwhile, ominous rumors surrounding a monster sanctuary in the city's abandoned ghost district draw the attention of high-ranking investigators.

A colossal Dragon-level meteor hurtles toward City Z on an unavoidable collision course, threatening to obliterate the entire municipality. Genos and veteran master Bang push their offensive abilities to the brink to stop the descent, until Saitama leaps skyward to shatter the asteroid with a decisive strike.

The aquatic Seafolk clan launches a coordinated land invasion of City J, led by the arrogant and monstrous Deep Sea King. As rainfall revitalizes the tyrant's true strength, several experienced heroes are brutally dismantled across the city.

The Deep Sea King traps helpless citizens inside City J's emergency evacuation shelter, easily overpowering the arriving reinforcements. Despite knowing he is vastly outmatched, Mumen Rider mounts a valiant, heartbreaking stand until Saitama arrives to finish the monster with a single punch.

The Hero Association convenes an emergency assembly of all S-Class heroes to address an ominous prophecy from the late seer Madame Shibabawa warning that Earth is in grave danger. Moments into the summit, an alien dreadnought darkens the skies above City A and obliterates the metropolis in an instant.

The S-Class heroes battle the regenerating extraterrestrial warrior Melzargard among the smoking ruins of City A, hunting down the marbles that anchor the alien's life force. Above the warzone, Saitama infiltrates the colossal mothership and tears through its vanguard to reach supreme commander Boros.

Saitama duels Lord Boros in a titanic clash spanning the starship hull and launching the hero all the way to the moon. Acknowledging Boros as a worthy adversary, Saitama unleashes his Serious Punch to shatter the conqueror's planet-cleaving attack and bring peace back to Earth.
